Dr. Adarsh Swaika holds a Ph.D Degree in Chemistry from Delhi University. He joined the Indian Foreign Service in 2002.
Dr. Adarsh Swaika joined as High Commissioner of India to Kenya and Permanent Representative to UNEP & UN Habitat on 2 October 2025. He was Ambassador of India to State of Kuwait from December 2022 till September 2025. He was Deputy High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh from 2015 to 2019. His other overseas postings include assignments in Moscow (2004-2006), Sofia (2006-2009) and China (2009-2012).
