India Kenya Business Council and KenInvest Seal Strategic Collaboration to Boost Bilateral Investment and Trade

In a landmark moment for Indo-Kenyan economic relations, the India Kenya Business Council (IKBC) and Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest) signed a Collaboration Agreement to deepen trade, investment, and strategic partnerships between Kenya and India.
The agreement was officially signed by Mr. Abhishek Rana, Chairman of IKBC, and Mr. John Mwendwa, OGW, CEO of KenInvest, during a high-level business breakfast held at the Serena Hotel in Nairobi.
This collaboration is anchored on five key pillars:
1. Investment Facilitation
2. Business Climate Intelligence
3. Policy Advocacy
4. Business Linkages
5. Government–Private Sector Engagement
With over 200 Indian companies active in Kenya and more than 1,000 Indian business delegates visiting in the past year, the agreement underscores the momentum toward deeper engagement across pharmaceuticals, ICT, agribusiness, manufacturing, clean energy, and more.
