IKBC attends Japanese Business Delegation’s Reception on 16th January 2025
On Thursday, 16th January 2025, the Japanese Embassy hosted a special reception for the visiting State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Japan, Mr. Fujii Hisayuki, accompanied by a distinguished business delegation from Japan.
The reception, under the theme “Building Bridges with Africa Towards Trade and Investment Collaboration,” was hosted by H.E. Hiroshi MATSUURA, Ambassador of Japan.
The India Kenya Business Council (IKBC) was represented by a delegation led by Chairman Mr. Abhishek Rana, who engaged with key figures, including:
• Mr. Akira Wada, Managing Director of CFAO Kenya Limited and Head of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce,
• Mrs. Sonal Tejpar, Chairperson of the British Chamber of Commerce Kenya, and
• Ms. Farida Abbas, CEO of the British Chamber of Commerce Kenya.
The event also saw the participation of Mr. Rishabh Kumar Rewar, Second Secretary (Commerce and Press) & Special Assistant to the High Commissioner, High Commission of India, Nairobi.
Such forums serve as a significant platform to strengthen global partnerships and foster meaningful opportunities for trade and investment. We look forward to participating in more such engagements in the future.
